Dear New York Giants,

The season is over.

After maybe having a slight chance of hope for a win over the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday, fate decided to double down and deliver a pain threshold comparable to that of the Cleveland Browns. Odell Beckham Jr., out on a fractured ankle, season ending. Sterling Shepard: ankle injury; season ending. Brandon Marshall: season-fucking-ending ankle injury. Dwayne Harris (former Dallas Cowboy, did ya know?) ... you guessed it: ankle injury - season done.

So that wide receiver core (the won I tipped as the best in the entire league) is now wiped out entirely. The running game is pathetic, the offensive line is exactly that: offensive; and that world class defence is beginning to fade away with an array of injuries and being forced to take the field for insane amounts of time, gassing themselves entirely.

But there's one particular person of high status within the team that I have failed to mention yet - Eli Manning. That 2-time Superbowl MVP derp machine, the guy that is usually the wrench in the Giants' cogs as his costly interception bound throws are what have reversed many a sealed game. However, for this season, he is the least of this teams problems. When the offensive line isn't giving him enough time to actually throw it to a suitable target, or forcing him to run the ball himself for a touchdown, or when those receivers already stated aren't letting him and entire team down with dropped passes. When Eli Manning isn't even a problem with the Giants' season, you know something is horrifically wrong here.

The time is over. Ben McAdoo needs to be fired. Jerry Reese needs to be fired. Mike Sullivan needs to be fired. They need a solid running back, an actual O-line instead of this ragtag team of traffic pylons! The defence needs a break now and then. They can't do it all themselves, regardless of quality.

So go ahead, tank the season for some good draft picks. Clear out the clutter of players with even a shred of value for more picks. Re-sign players you cut prior to the start of the season to maintain the facade of goodwill and loyalty - it will lead you nowhere.

This season, as far as I am concerned, is finished. You're sure as shit not beating the Broncos next week, and the only teams you will have the slightest smidgen of a chance against are the 49ers and the Cardinals, and even then, I'm no longer convinced.

This team is done.
