NFL Week 12 Preview and Predictions: By Kyle Balfour

Ahh, it's good to be back to the classic font style! Hello there, and welcome back to the GoForItOnFourth's weekly predictions with Kyle and...just me. It's been a while since one of these, but seeing as how my partner in NFL crimes off the field (as our teams commit them on the field) has very important university deadlines to attend to, I'll be taking over. Can't just have you all sitting there waiting for reviews with nothing to preface with - how else would I eat my own words? Bye Week Shout Outs to... nobody ! Bye Weeks are over. So let's get right down into it! Lions vs Vikings - Vikings This game is going on right now as I type this! While I won't be spoiling anything, nor will I let that fact cloud any judgements I had prior, I have the Vikings to win off the back of Case Keenum being a total stud out there, with 4th quarter comeback magic around to bail out the Lions if necessary, or at least to give the image of a close game. NFL Week 11 Review: By Kyle Balfour

With Week 11 concluded, the looming finale month of the year that is December is within grasp. After this week, Thanksgiving will be here, and so will the inevitable Black Friday. Something that is desperately trying to catch on here in the U.K. but I don't think many of the British public care that much about consumerist greed as much as Americans do. Last years Black Friday was abysmally bad and forgettable. So let's hope it stays that way (now cyber Monday, I'm all over that shit!) But enough about seasonal gluttony, let's delve into the week that was with this review of Week 11! Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvanian Result: Steelers 40-17 Titans Kyle Said: Steelers (1-0) Stuart Said: Steelers (1-0) See Steelers? That is what you are capable of! So I harp on the Steelers a lot - mostly because the players are a little on the insufferable side, and the losses they did suffer were incredibly embarrassing, but they are sti

NFL Week 10 Review: By Kyle Balfour

Week 10 has come and gone, and nothing like that double digit and plummeting temperatures to remind us that winter has finally come, and with it so does the looming countdown for playoff contention. So let's see how this week fared for each team, as well as the ensuing predictions race between me and Tomlin. Also instead of my usual setup for how well we are both doing (and usually prematurely revealing how well we both did), I'll instead just let the scores speak for themselves. Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks University of Arizona Stadium, Glendale, Arizona Actual Result: Cardinals 16-22 Seahawks Kyle Said: Seahawks (1-0) Stuart Said: Seahawks (1-0) What is it with people calling for the end of Thursday Night Football,  when it's offered us some of the best games of the season thus far? For an American watching it, it's the first taste of what's to come: the weekend! I say keep it: it's a good tradition, and like I said, it's a good

NFL Week 9 Review: By Kyle Balfour

Oh, hello there! Certainly been a while, hasn't it? So yeah, this review is definitely long overdue, and by no means that much relevant. Still, it's good to document and I'll be damned if we miss a week in some form or the other! So enough with excuse making on my part, let's dive right into the much anticipated Week 9 review of the NFL! It's criminally outdated, but prediction scores sit at 67-52 for myself and Tomlin at 70-49 heading into this week. Big time spoilers  this week was terrible for both of us predictions wise (an odd number of games made me below 50%...) and Tomlin squeaked out to lead 77-55 to my 73-59. New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey Actual Result: Jets 34-24 Bills Kyle Said: Bills (0-1) Stuart Said: Bills (0-1) They win when I want them to lose, they lose when I want them to win...wait, which team am I talking about here? Both of these teams have been disappointing/frustrating to watch and
NFL Week 10 Preview: By Stuart Tomlin Shall we bounce right into a Week 10 Preview? Why the hell not, ay? Also I’ve not forgotten about the Twickenham article, I’ll try and finish it tomorrow if I can. Just haven’t had time with Uni work, travelling, and indeed, these reviews and previews. Anyway, last week was sensational. I saw AJ Styles win the WWE Championship. I saw an incredible match between the Shield and the Bar. I saw Triple H wrestle. I saw Everton come back from 2 goals down to win 3-2. And I actually saw a Colts victory. I think that was the most shocking thing of all. Back to reality, back to Uni, and ba ck to the Preview. I’m writing this in the library as the laptop is still on the Injured Reserve. I’m probably getting it back tomorrow, so I can finish this review – if I’m not finishing Sonic Forces and the adventures of Original the Character. It’s a fun game, despite the mixed reviews. …Wow, I’ve spent very little time talking about the N
