NFL Week 12 Preview and Predictions: By Kyle Balfour

Ahh, it's good to be back to the classic font style! Hello there, and welcome back to the GoForItOnFourth's weekly predictions with Kyle and...just me.

It's been a while since one of these, but seeing as how my partner in NFL crimes off the field (as our teams commit them on the field) has very important university deadlines to attend to, I'll be taking over. Can't just have you all sitting there waiting for reviews with nothing to preface with - how else would I eat my own words?

Bye Week Shout Outs to...nobody! Bye Weeks are over.

So let's get right down into it!

Lions vs Vikings - Vikings
This game is going on right now as I type this! While I won't be spoiling anything, nor will I let that fact cloud any judgements I had prior, I have the Vikings to win off the back of Case Keenum being a total stud out there, with 4th quarter comeback magic around to bail out the Lions if necessary, or at least to give the image of a close game.

Cowboys vs Chargers - Chargers
Ahh, it feels good to enable a Bold Pick of the Week once again! This time, it's for the Chargers to beat the Cowboys at AT&T stadium. The Cowboys have just looked lost since losing a core piece of their offensive line, like a crucial jenga block; as well as losing prized running back Ezekiel Elliot for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, the Chargers, much like the name implies, have had their season akin to a depleted iPhone. Now that it's charged, so are they.

Redskins vs Giants - Redskins
So as per tradition, a "classic" rivalry arrives to us for our prime NFL Thanksgiving game. The Redskins did look pretty good against the Saints, despite blowing the lead and eventually losing, but I will take that over the Giants. Unless the Giants defence can snuff out the Redskins offence, which can very much happen if last week's game is anything to go by, then the Redskins should be fine to win this...please win, for the love of god, please win! I want a good tank! Papa needs a high draft!

Bengals vs Browns - Bengals
So last time these 2 teams played, I put a lot of presumptuous faith in the Browns for...some reason, and though they could actually beat the Bengals, this time around...I still think exactly the same about both teams...but I'm gonna go with the Bengals this time. Both teams are bad, but what I've realised is the Browns are on a different level of bad.

Jets vs Panthers - Panthers
So the Jets return from their bye and are hoping to...win? I think...

However, I don't see that happening against the Panthers. They are desperate to maintain pace with the Saints for control of their division, so they definitely need this win.

Colts vs Titans - Titans
So it's the Tank Squad vs The Underdog. This has the potential to go both ways depending on the kind of game Marcus Mariota has. I do think he'll be able to get a good game, as will DeMarco Murray, but I've seen crazier things happen.

Falcons vs  Buccaneers - Falcons
So the Falcons get a much needed win to keep them in the race for the NFC South, but the Bucs are only 1 behind. It's a highly competitive division, but I see the Falcons being able to best the Bucs for this one.

Patriots vs Dolphins - Patriots
So despite a concussion for Jay Cutler last game, there is still doubt as to who is the Dolphins starter for this game. That alone is a cause for concern. Regardless of whoever starts, I see the Patriots winning this one with relative ease.

Eagles vs Bears - Eagles
LOL

Honestly, this is going to be a blood bath. The Eagles are flying higher than recent memory, and the lowly Bears are just the next victim on the line up. It's a shame, really.

Chiefs vs Bills - Chiefs
So the Chiefs get a total reality check by losing to the Giants, and the Bills are in total panic mode. While both teams are on the downward spiral, at least the Chiefs team is still in tact, so I can see them winning this one. They also signed washed up, former best cornerback in the league Darrelle Revis; who I'd easily take over Phillip Gaines. Let's just hope he didn't ask for too much money, or demands much if he decides to re-sign...

49ers vs Seahawks - Seahawks
So the Niners pick up another piece of the Patriots leftovers in defensive end Cassius Marsh. It may just be another piece that they will need for next season. Still, they have a long way to go, and while the Seahawks are battling injuries right now, I still take them to beat the Niners.

Raiders vs Broncos - Raiders
So both teams are in very deep slumps at the moment. Raiders fire their defensive coordinator due to shoddy defence, and the Broncos fire their offensive coordinator due to shoddy offence...this is gonna be one of those games, isn't it?

Still, I'll take slightly more competent offence and a steady quarterback from the Raiders over the carousel of young inefficient quarterbacks that plague the Broncos currently. This weeks Broncos starter is 2016's draft pick Paxton 'not related to Marshawn' Lynch.

Rams vs Saints - Rams
Another fantastic game on paper is upon us. Both teams posses incredible offensive prowess, but I feel that the Rams will take it only slightly by virtue of possessing a better defence. Unlike the Vikings, I don't think the Saints will be able to offer the same level of pressure, nor be capable of shutting down Todd Gurley.

Cardinals vs Jaguars - Jaguars
So an injury riddled Cardinals take on the defensively inclined Jaguars. I think with the strong defence, and the running potential of Leonard Fournette, the Jaguars should win this one with ease...I say should, since this is the Jags, after all...

Steelers vs Packers - Steelers
Not much for this one, the Rodger-less Packers face against the Steelers, who will either demolish them, or play down to them and make it an unnecessary close game.

Ravens vs Texans - Ravens
Depending on how that "old run down car" the Ravens call an offence is looking, they'll either perform well against the walking dead that is the injury riddled Texans, or act even more inept.

There we go, a nice little preview for you all to take in as we head into Week 12, starting tonight to kick off the Thanksgiving celebrations.

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American readers, and try not to die out there tomorrow...

Thanks for reading!
