NFL Week 15 Review: By Stuart Tomlin Well, I’m back. Did I miss much? I’m out of the dreaded exam season, and have something of a laptop working again. So, I’m back. The NFL trundled on and there were many exciting incidents, like the Seahawks trying to fight the Jaguars fans, the NFL not having a clue what the hell a catch is…and the Colts haven’t won since the 5 th of November. So, I haven’t missed too much then. The actual prediction scores won’t feature in this preview, as I have absolutely no idea what they are right now. We’re working on that, and should have an update soon. So, week 15 was a fun one wasn’t it? Completely missed our game because of the exam the next day, and that’s probably just as well. I’m gonna attempt to talk about it and every other game that I actually did watch thanks to RedZone. Let’s get on with it shall we? Indianapolis Colts 13-25 Denver Broncos Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana Well, that was a bit of a shitshow, w

NFL Week 12 Review: By Kyle Balfour

It's December! Nothing like the realisation that the date now has a recurring 12 in the middle to set people into a festive frenzy! Mariah Carey owns the radio waves once more as everything becomes just a little bit brighter thanks to festive lighting. It's cold, but at least everything's pretty. What is it we do here again? Ohh, yeah! Sports! Week 12 has come and gone, with only a few more vital weeks for certain teams desperate for a playoff spot to try and make the difference. So let's recap with a review of Week 12! Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan Result: Lions 23-30 Vikings Kyle Said: Vikings (1-0) Stuart Said: Vikings (1-0) So we begin the Thanksgiving festivities with a nice old rivalry game between the Lions and the Vikings. Congratulations to Matthew Stafford surpassing Tony Romo for most completed yards on Thanksgiving gameday. Easy to do when both these teams host the Thanksgiving games every year... So bot

NFL Week 12 Preview and Predictions: By Kyle Balfour

Ahh, it's good to be back to the classic font style! Hello there, and welcome back to the GoForItOnFourth's weekly predictions with Kyle and...just me. It's been a while since one of these, but seeing as how my partner in NFL crimes off the field (as our teams commit them on the field) has very important university deadlines to attend to, I'll be taking over. Can't just have you all sitting there waiting for reviews with nothing to preface with - how else would I eat my own words? Bye Week Shout Outs to... nobody ! Bye Weeks are over. So let's get right down into it! Lions vs Vikings - Vikings This game is going on right now as I type this! While I won't be spoiling anything, nor will I let that fact cloud any judgements I had prior, I have the Vikings to win off the back of Case Keenum being a total stud out there, with 4th quarter comeback magic around to bail out the Lions if necessary, or at least to give the image of a close game. NFL Week 11 Review: By Kyle Balfour

With Week 11 concluded, the looming finale month of the year that is December is within grasp. After this week, Thanksgiving will be here, and so will the inevitable Black Friday. Something that is desperately trying to catch on here in the U.K. but I don't think many of the British public care that much about consumerist greed as much as Americans do. Last years Black Friday was abysmally bad and forgettable. So let's hope it stays that way (now cyber Monday, I'm all over that shit!) But enough about seasonal gluttony, let's delve into the week that was with this review of Week 11! Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvanian Result: Steelers 40-17 Titans Kyle Said: Steelers (1-0) Stuart Said: Steelers (1-0) See Steelers? That is what you are capable of! So I harp on the Steelers a lot - mostly because the players are a little on the insufferable side, and the losses they did suffer were incredibly embarrassing, but they are sti

NFL Week 10 Review: By Kyle Balfour

Week 10 has come and gone, and nothing like that double digit and plummeting temperatures to remind us that winter has finally come, and with it so does the looming countdown for playoff contention. So let's see how this week fared for each team, as well as the ensuing predictions race between me and Tomlin. Also instead of my usual setup for how well we are both doing (and usually prematurely revealing how well we both did), I'll instead just let the scores speak for themselves. Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks University of Arizona Stadium, Glendale, Arizona Actual Result: Cardinals 16-22 Seahawks Kyle Said: Seahawks (1-0) Stuart Said: Seahawks (1-0) What is it with people calling for the end of Thursday Night Football,  when it's offered us some of the best games of the season thus far? For an American watching it, it's the first taste of what's to come: the weekend! I say keep it: it's a good tradition, and like I said, it's a good
